Malayalam film industry was the one of the prestigious branch of Indian cinema. Malayalam movies has got high acceptance in Indian film. It have low making cost when compared to other industries in India, but most of the Malayalam films have maintains a good quality. There are about more than hundred films are releasing each year in Mollywood with different genre. 1. Thenkasipattanam 

Thenkasipattanam is a comedy movie directed by Rafi Mecartin and which released on 15th December 2000. Suresh Gopi, Lal, Dileep, Samyuktha Varma, Geethu Mohandas, Kavya Madhavan, Salim Kumar are in the lead roles. The film narrated the friendship between two friends and it got positive response from the viewers.

2. Ee Parakkum Thalika

Ee Parakkum Thalika is a Malayalam comedy entertainer directed by Thaha. The film was written by V R Gopalakrishnan and which was released on 4th July 2001. Dileep, Nithya Das and Harisree Ashokan are in the lead cast. The film essays problems happened in the life of a bus owner and his assistant, when mysterious tribal girl entering to their bus. The film got tremendous response from the audience and which was was one of the highest grossing Malayalam film of 2001.

3. One Man Show

One Man Show is a Malayalam Comedy drama directed by Shafi. The film was scripted by the writer duo Rafi Mecartin and which released on 21st December 2001. It features Jayaram, Samyuktha Varma, Lal, Manya, Kalabhavan Mani and Narendra Prasad in lead roles. The film got tremendous response from the audience and which was a hit in that year.

4. Kuberan

Kuberan is a Malayalam comedy film directed by Sundar Das and which released on 15th April 2002. It stars Dileep, Uma Shankari, Kalabhavan Mani and Samyuktha Varma are in the lead roles. The film got tremendous response from the audience and it became a box office super hit in that year.

5. Meesa Madhavan

Meesa Madhavan is one of the evergreen Malayalam comedy movie directed by Lal Jose and written by Ranjan Pramod. Dileep, Kavya Madhavan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Indrajith, Cochin Haneefa and Harisree Ashokan are in the lead roles. The film narrated the story of a clever thief in a village. The film got tremendous response from the audience and which was was one of the highest grossing Malayalam film of 2002.

 

6. Bamboo Boys

Bamboo Boys is a Malayalam comedy written and directed by Ali Akbar. The movie was released in 11 October 2002 and it features Kalabhavan Mani, Harishree Ashokan, Cochin Haneefa and Salim Kumar are in the lead roles. The film essays the story of  four tribals who comes from jungle to find a doctor. The film was gave a good experience to the Malayali viewers and which made a big impact at the box office.

7. Kalyanaraman

Kalyanaraman is a Malayalam comedy entertainer directed by hit maker Shafi and which released on 20th December 2002. It stars Dileep, Kunchacko Boban, Navya Nair, Lal, Innocent, Jyothirmayi and Salim Kumar are in the lead roles. The film got tremendous response from the audience and which was also remade in to Telugu as Kalyanaramudu, starring Venu, Suman, Prabhudeva and Nikita Thukral.

8. Thilakkam

Thilakkam is a Malayalam comedy drama directed by Jayaraj and written by Rafi Mecartin. The movie was released in 11 April 2003 and it features Dileep, Kavya Madhavan, Bhavana, Nedumudi Venu, K P A C Lalitha, Thiagarajan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Cochin Haneefa, Harisree Ashokan, Salim Kumar and Bindhu Panicker are in lead the lead roles. The film got tremendous response from the audience and which was also remade in to Kannada as Nandeesha starring Komal Kumar.

9. C I D Moosa

C I D Moosa is one of the most popular Malayalam comedy film directed by Johny Antony and which was released on 4th July 2003. It stars Dileep, Bhavana, Harisree Ashokan, Cochin Haneefa, Jagathy Sreekumar, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Salim Kumar, and Ashish Vidyarthi in the lead roles. The film made a big impact at the box office and also it was remade in Tamil as Seena Thaana 001, in Kannada as CID Eesha and in Telugu as Ramachari – Eedo Pedda Goodachari.

10. Pulival Kalyanam

Pulival Kalyanam is a Malayalam Comedy drama directed by Shafi. The film was scripted by the writer duo Udayakrishna-Sibi K Thomas and which released on 25th December 2003. Jayasurya, Kavya Madhavan, Lal, Cochin Haneefa, Harisree Ashokan, Salim Kumar and Lalu Alex are in the lead cast. It is very different experience to the viewers and was a big hit in that year. Also the movie was remade in Kannada as Chellata starring Ganesh.

11. Chathikkatha Chanthu

Chathikkatha chandu is a Malayalam comedy drama written and directed by Rafi Mecartin. It stars Jayasurya, Vineeth, Lal, Navya Nair, Bhavana, Cochin Haneefa, Salim Kumar, Siddique, and Janardhanan are in the lead roles. The movie was released in 14 April 2004 and It made a big impact at the box office. Later it was remade in Kannada as Kal Manja starring Komal Kumar.

12. Vettam

Vettam is one of the evergreen Malayalam comedy movie directed by hit maker Priyadarshan. The movie was released in 20th August 2004 and It features Dileep, Bhavna Pani, Kalabhavan Mani, Nedumudi Venu, Cochin Haneefa, Janardhanan and Innocent are in the lead roles. The film was a big hit in that year and later it was remade in Hindi as De Dana Dan.

13. Pandippada

Pandippada is a Malayalam comedy entertainer written and directed by Rafi Mecartin. The movie was released in 4th July 2005 and it stars Dileep, Navya Nair, Harisree Ashokan, Prakash Raj, Salim Kumar, Rajan P Dev, Ambika, Indrans and Cochin Haneefa are in the lead roles. The film essays the life of an unsuccessful entrepreneur, who gets trapped in clash between two landlords in Tamil Nadu. It got tremendous response from the audience and which was a hit in that year.
