Villain Movie Box Office Collection Report

Villain is a Malayalam multi-starer investigative thriller movie written and directed by B Unnikrishnan. The film features  Mohanlal, Manju warrierkollywood stars Vishal, Hansika Motwani, Telugu actors Srikanth and Raashi khanna are in lead roles. The movie hit theaters from 27th October 2017.

This is the first Indian movie which shot completely in 8 K resolution with the help of Helium 8 K camera. In this film Mohanlal has playing the role of an ex-police officer named Mathew Manjooran. While Manju Warrier plays his wife’s role of Mohanlal in the movie. Also Kollywood actress Hansika plays a key role in this movie. Veteran actor Siddique, Aju Varghese and Chemban Vinod Jose  are also features some prominent characters in the movie. Villain is bankrolled by Rockline Venkatesh under the banner of Rockline Entertainments.

First day Box Office Collection report

As per the official reports Villain earned  11.34 Lakhs on its first day from Kochin multiplexes with  34 shows and 96.57 occupancy and collected 4.91 crores from Kerala Box Office on it’s first day.
The movie released in more than 275 releasing centers in Kerala. This is one of the biggest release in Mohanlal’s career. Also the film successfully completed 1000 shows in the initial day.

This is a tremendous first day collection for the movie. Also it is a terrific come back of Mohanlal in box-office after the success of Pulimurugan in 2015. The positive reviews of the film help to improve the collection in the future days.

After the huge success of Oppam, 4 Musics composed the Music for Villain. Prevalent cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa cranks the camera and editing is done by Sreekar Prasad. The movie consists many action sequences and it is handled by National Award winner Peter Hein and Stunt Silva.
