This film is murali Gopy’s new venture after the Malayalam movie Left right left. Since it is a Murali’s film the character should have an intensity like his previous works Ee adutha kalathu, Left right left etc. it should be a complete entertainer for all viewers.
This work would be special one for Indrajith since his younger daughter Nakshthra appears in this film and the character Pattabhiraman (Indrajith) should be the toughest one among his work. Ananya plays a strong character named Amba, the better half of Pattabhiraman. The movie involves the languages and many places across India. Finally the waiting ends today with the release of Tiyaan. We can see a wonderful scripting of Murali Gopy through this film and he also did a great job in front of the camera by presenting the role of Bhagavan Mahashay, It is the career best performance of Indrajith Sukumaran and Prithvi also did well. Jiyen Krishnakumar narrated a different theme to Malayalam industry and it works well.
Coming to the cinema, the main highlight of the movie is its scripting. Murali Gopy deserves a special appreciation for his work. As like his previous script works, Murali Gopi included class dialogues for the lead characters. Even though the film is more than 165 minutes duration, it doesn’t feel any lagging. Viewers have high expectation on this film and the director could make it beyond the expectation. It is the best ever work of Jiyen Krishnakumar till the date and definitely he deserves the appreciation.
Coming to the story line, it portraits the life of some villagers in Northern India. The first half shows the life of Pattabhiraman and the problems happened to his family after the entry of Mahashay Bhagavan (Murali Gopy), who is a spiritual leader. In the second half showed how Pattabhiraman solve his problems. It a novel experience to Malayali audience. Prithviraj handled the role of Aslan Mohammad, which is said to be the central character of the film.
Gopi Sunder once again rocked with his unbeatable performance. The movie tracks, effects, sound mixing and background score are really wonderful. Satheesh Kurup done a great job with his camera. Please don’t go with any prejudice and expectation, you can’t find any comedy or romance, it’s beyond that.
